We will be showcasing a range of natural supplements to improve health and well being at Natural and Organic Products Europe, London, 19-20 April.
We will put a spotlight on our award-winning Bio-Chromium supplement, which is helping the nationto kick its sugar habit.
Natural and Organic Products Europe will be the first time the product has been showcased since the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) approved its ChromoPrecise organic chromium yeast for the control of blood sugar levels. EFSA also noted that ChromoPrecise is ten times better absorbed by the body when compared to all other sources of chromium, such as chromium chloride and picolinate.
One in three adults in the UK has high blood sugar, which can contribute to the cravings often experienced by those who struggle to lose weight or resist sugary snacks and junk food. Modern convenience foods contain very little chromium and UK dietary intake is well below recommended levels.
Bent Henriksen OBE (Hon.), managing director at Pharma Nord, commented: “We strongly believe that Bio-Chromium can help to control the nation's sugar addiction. By topping up chromium levels through supplementation, it is possible to control sugar cravings and maintain a healthy blood sugar level.”
Pharma Nord will also exhibit Lady Prelox, the UK's first natural supplement to support sexual desire, pleasure and comfort in women of all ages. Lady Prelox contains 100 per cent plant-based ingredients, including a unique combination of Pycnogenol, a French pine bark extract, Rosvita, rose hip extract, and amino acids L-Arginine and L-Citrulline.
The company's well-known Omega 7 supplement will also be showcased. Omega 7 capsules contain sea buckthorn oil extracted from both the berry pulp and seeds. It helps to maintain mucous membrane health and can be used to combat dry eyes and mouth, as well as intimate dryness. Omega 7 is also rich in antioxidants and plant sterols, which are important for human well-being.
Pharma Nord will also be showcasing Bio-Quinone Active Q10. All cells in the body require a supply of Q10 as part of their energy mechanism, with the heart and muscle cells having a particularly high demand. Q10 levels decrease with age, making topping up levels through supplementation important.
The original Q10 formula, Bio-Quinone Active Q10 has been documented in over 90 scientific studies and provides a high level of bio-availability.
