Adventurers Lynne and Noel Hanna have made history by becoming the first husband and wife team to climb Mount Everest from both sides.

Noel and Lynne successfully summited from the north side in Tibet with the help of Pharma Nord's Bio-Quinone Active Q10. On Saturday, May 21 at 07:00 Tibetan time they reached the summit. It took them 7 hours to climb from high camp at 8300mts, the couple then returned back to Advance Based Camp at 6400 at 1800 hrs the same day. The couple stood on Everest's summit for the first time in 2009 after climbing the south side from Nepal.
Lynne and Noel first attempted the north side of the mountain in 2005. They were forced to abandon it when Noel experienced retinal in his eyes. On their return home to Northern they got Babu, a German Shepherd pup, to keep Noel company as he recovered. Babu trained in the mountains with Lynne and Noel throughout his 10 years but sadly passed away last year.
This was both a physical and personal triumph for the couple. They stood on top of the world’s tallest mountain to sprinkle the ashes of their beloved dog.
Speaking of the triumph Noel said: “It was great to stand on top of the world again with Lynne and also for the both of us to scatter the ashes of our loved dog BABU. It was the 1st time out of summits I had tears in my eyes on the summit. Taking Q10 helps you push your body to the limits and recovery is sped up.”
