After a quarter of a century in the community, Pharma Nord UK received recognition in the Morpeth Town Council Civic Awards last month. Pharma Nord scooped the Business Award, which gives recognition for a local business that has created jobs or nurtured and promoted the skills of local residents or invested in making the town a great place to live, work and conduct business. Winners were selected by the Civic Awards Panel, which includes the Mayor of Morpeth. Other award categories included Community, Sport, Leisure and Culture and Townsperson of Morpeth.
The ceremony took place at the Corn Exchange, within Morpeth's town hall, attended by Pharma Nord UK Managing Director, Bent Henriksen OBE (Hon.) said, "We are delighted to win this award in our 25th year of business.the public, winners and nominees.
"Pharma Nord UK has received good service from the town since I founded the company and we have been able to remain here and continue to grow, with the support of the council. "It has been a pleasure to bring quality preventative nutrition to the community and help the local natural health business. We have also taken on a young man from Morpeth on our apprenticeship scheme and we hope we can give a great start to his career." After winning awards for great products, such as Omega 7 and BioActive Q10, it is satisfying to receive recognition for being a great business.
