    Glyceryl dibehenate


    Glyceryl dibehenate is a saturated fatty acid with a high melting point. It is a mixture of glyceryl esters of behenic acid made from glycerin and behenic acid. Glyceryl behenate is used in dietary supplements as a tablet and capsule lubricant and as a lipidic coating excipient. It has no E number. Glyceryl dibehenate has a GRAS rating in the US meaning it is generally regarded as safe.
