Zinc Lozenges contain organically bound bio-available zinc and a natural source of vitamin C from Acerola cherry extract. Vitamin C and zinc contribute to the normal function of the immune system, and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Zinc lozenges ensure fast delivery of the active ingredients vitamin c and zinc to the mucous membranes in the oral cavity and throat, they dissolve slowly in the mouth and have a pleasant orange flavour. High intake of Bio-InfluZinc + C may be useful for brief periods of 7-10 days, depending on the circumstances.
Zinc is an essential mineral primarily found in cells and, in cellular fluid throughout the body. Our white and red blood cells contain a substantial amount of zinc. Together with copper, zinc is an important constituent of the antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD).
Zinc has many different functions in the human body and supports about 200 different enzymes.
These are some of the most important functions of zinc:
Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin and carries out various other important functions such as:
Acerola is a large (2-3 cm) cherry-like fruit. There are several different Acerola varieties, Bio-Influ-Zinc contains a refined version. Acerola's vitamin C content is extremely high and provides 1,500-3,000 mg of the vitamin per 100g.

Relative to the food we eat, the size of individual nutrients are actually incredibly small. As a result, we need to use units other than grammes (g) to describe them. Here’s what the common units for nutrients are:
Grammes (G)- often used to describe nutritional powders. Most teaspoons of powder weigh approximately 5g.
Milligrams (Mg)- 1000mg is equal to 1g
Micrograms (Mcg or μg)- 1000μg is equal to 1mg
International Units (IU)- Slightly more complex than milligrams (mg) and micrograms (μg), International Units measure differently from nutrient to nutrient. The most common nutrients that are likely to be measured in IU are vitamins D, E and A.
Absolutely incredible, magical tablets. I was a long time sufferer of tonsillitis that only very strong antibiotics could cure until I was introduced to these. I have one as soon as I feel a tickle coming on and that’s it’s gone. These tablets saved me thank you.
Could feel prickling in nose late Thursday so began taking 6 per day. By Sunday morning, all clear
Used these tablets since Monday and have been taking 6 a day. Started with a scratchy sore throat on Sunday and now it has completely eased (wed). Been keeping them at the back of my tongue to dissolve.
